How Often Can I Take Traffic School?
If you got a ticket at least 18 months since your last ticket (the 18 months is calculated from the day you received the citation not the day you last completed traffic school), you are most likely eligible to take a traffic school course.
If it has been less than 18 months since your last ticket, you have to get special permission from the judge to allow you to take traffic school. Depending on your situation, the traffic court judge may still allow you to complete a traffic school course. The judge may also order you to take a Stage II (12-hour) traffic school for the second ticket.
